As is to be expected, we got very hyped about BMW’s latest camouflage M5 pictures and details, but that was then, this is now, and we’re positively overflowing with excitement about the future of BMW’s new Z4 Concept is even close to the final product.
Revealed during their annual press conference at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, this newest BMW roadster is the aggressive, statement-making sports car BMW has needed for some time.
A long hood, short trunk and low profile are all important aspects of traditional sports car design, and this newest Bimmer has all that and much more. BMW has stepped up the styling of the next-gen Z4, harkening back to the “shark nose” cars of the ‘90s while moving forward with futuristic styling and design.
While we don’t expect the strange two-tone dash and seats or skinny rear view mirrors to carry through to the final product, much of what you see here will most likely make it to market, and if it does survive the final design process mostly unscathed we’re pretty convinced that BMW is going to have a runaway success on their hands.
