The 2017 Formula One season is coming up quickly, and the rules have changed dramatically for this year. The new cars are lower, wider, and heavier than last year and they have much larger tires for more grip. That is supposed to give us cars that are several seconds faster per lap, and we are told the new machines will be much harder to drive. In theory that will produce more exciting racing, and help separate the good drivers from the great ones. Only time will tell if any of this is true, but if you want a more in-depth and entertaining explanation of what the rules really mean this season, just press play.
