Pricing For 2017 Volvo V90 A Sweet Surprise

You’ve heard it before from me, but I’ll say it yet again. I have a weakness for wagons. It may be the previously mentioned ’77 LTD station wagon. Then again, maybe it’s that my parents traded a Pinto wagon for that LTD. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but the love is there regardless of its origins.

That’s why I was excited to hear that we finally have a price for the sexy new Volvo V90. Select the most basic of the newest wagon – which isn’t all that basic when it comes down to it, given all the tech and comfort items that come standard – and you’ll be liable for just south of 50 grand. That’s a little bit lower than I expected the car to command, to be honest. I was prepared for a $55k sticker hit for a car with less standard equipment, so I’m pleasantly surprised.

Add a bunch of extra options and the price can climb steeply and quickly, but a sub $50k price for the luxury, functionality and style offered by the newest V90 is something to crow about.

Throw in optional Overseas Delivery, which provides two air tickets to Sweden and a tour of the factory, where you pick up your new car to drive around Europe before shipping it home and the whole thing looks like a pretty sweet deal for the wagon lover.
